Chinoise Exotique Plates Set

Chinoise Exotique is inspired from Scalamandre's iconic wallpaper and fabric pattern. A charming tableau of stylized blossoms, vines, figures and animals.

The mixed set of three plates create a scenic tableau when shown together. You can connect the patterns like the iconic fabric with the vines and whimsy dancing on the wall.
Plates are not food safe.

Highlights of the ceramics collection at Winterthur Museum include nearly 5,000 Chinese export porcelain objects, many of them produced for the American market, as well as special-order wares once owned by famous historical figures.  An astonishingly wide array of American market and other table-, tea-, and ornamental ware helps illustrate the broad range of shapes available to the general consumer.
